Christmas Day

On Christmas morning, we woke up Tanner (I know, weird...) at 8:15. We had breakfast first, since he really had no idea what was going on. Then we opened presents! Once Tanner figured out how to open presents, he was all over it! He thought it was so cool to rip the paper off. He got to open Brooklynn's presents, too. He would set her opened gifts by her little chair for her to see. She slept through most of this. The grand finale was when Tanner got to open his new train extension sets. He got so excited when he opened them! It was a great start to a great day. This Christmas was totally awesome!

Auntie Erin knows how to win Brooklynn over!

Tanner's new train extension sets tripled his train set. He played with it all morning long. He got so worn out from it that he was excited to take a nap when nap time came along.
Josh got me Taylor Swift's Wonderstruck perfume for Christmas. This was something that I really wanted, so I was pretty excited when I opened it!
Too bad this picture was taken a fraction of a second before I blinked, so I look zoned out. But at least my little girl looks cute!

Tanner loves his warm Thomas jammies that he got from Grandma Niederhauser. The sock slippers totally rock, too!

More Brooklynn Pictures

Changing Table Trouble

Tanner knows how to climb up onto the changing table now, which has been causing me a lot of worry. Luckily he hasn't fallen off yet or gotten hurt in any way. Just the other day, I went into his room to check on him during his nap time. And this is what I found- he decided that he was going to take a nap on his changing table! And he even brought Curious George and his monkey to take a nap with him. I about had a heart attack. I moved him to his bed, where he finished his nap. I'm crossing my fingers that this doesn't happen again!

Tanner's Cookies

Last night, Josh and Tanner made cookies together. Josh let Tanner pour all the ingredients into the pan and stir it. Then, of course, he let him indulge in the chocolatey leftovers with the wooden spoon. It was really fun for Tanner to help out with baking!

New Outfits

Brooklynn is officially out of newborn clothes now (sad!), so I brought out all of her 0-3 month clothes. We got some really cute outfits from a lot of people, so I've been taking pictures of them. There will be more to come!

Exercising

Tanner loves to exercise with Josh in the evenings. It's so cute!

Sledding Video

Snow!!!

Snow has finally arrived here on the east coast! We had a huge snow storm all day yesterday. Tanner had a blast playing in the snow. He didn't want to come in, even though he was freezing. He had a really great time sledding with his daddy, too.
