Utah for Christmas!

Here are the kids at the Denver airport watching airplanes through the window as we waiting during a ridiculously long layover. The kids were so excited to surprise their Grandma and Grandpa Niederhauser! Grandma and Grandpa had no idea that we were coming that day. It turned out to be a pretty great surprise for them!

Here are the kids in their Christmas outfits for church on Sunday.

Tanner loves to hold Baby Brooke.

Our Early Christmas (Dec. 14)

We celebrated our Christmas on December 14, because I had to pack on the 15th and fly to Utah on the 16th. So here are a few fun pictures of the kids opening their presents. (And these first 2 pictures are to show Brooke's Christmas outfit that her Grandma Oaks gave her.)

Here is Brooke's new peek-a-boo Elmo. She loved it!

Naughty Boy

Tanner drew all over the floor with black crayon. Immediately after I saw it, before I even had time to react, he ran to the cleaning closet and grabbed some rags to clean it up. I didn't even have to ask him to clean it up. I was surprised at how sweet he was about it. Unfortunately for him, crayon doesn't come off with just wet rags. So I let him wipe for a while, and then when he got discouraged, I pulled out the magic eraser. Worked like a charm.

Presents Under the Tree!

I wrapped our Christmas presents the other day, and Tanner has been so excited about them. He asks me every day if he can open them, but I always tell him we need to wait until Christmas. I've been very lucky that he hasn't tried to open them anyway behind my back. He has been pretty obedient to me about those gifts. I think he is finally the age when he can understand that being a good boy brings its rewards.

Sunday Naptime

Here's another picture of Tanner passed out on the couch one Sunday afternoon. I've decided that he has both grandpas' sleeping genes- the ability to sleep anywhere, anytime! He was so cute- he went to his room to get a cozy blanket and tucked himself in. Oh, and if you're wondering why he doesn't have any clothes on in December... well, he told me that he wanted to be naked. So he took his clothes off. I'm thinking it must be a 3-year-old thing...

Christmas Time!

It's Christmas time and we just put our tree up! It was a little crazy. In the process, a couple of glass ornaments got broken and Brooklynn pulled the tree down onto herself. But we all survived, and it was totally worth it. Now we're all excited for the Christmas fun this month!

Even MORE Train Stuff!

When we were visiting Josh's sister Tiffany and her family for Thanksgiving, she gave Tanner a whole bunch of new pieces for his train set. He now has a cool bridge, a mountain, a shed, a crane, and more trains. I don't think there's a cooler train set out there! He's a lucky boy.

Trouble Maker Kids

I asked Tanner to help me hang the laundry one day, and this is his work. I don't think he quite understands the concept of air-dry yet.

This little trouble maker is into everything now. Today I found her playing with my makeup. I told her she's a little too young for that still.
