Last Week's Fun

Brookie is growing up so fast! I mean, just look at this little girl all grown up!

Same thing for this big guy- he's growing up! Now he can pull himself up to a stand. He's turning my whole world upside down. Nothing is safe in my home anymore. He has already destroyed magazines, Candyland cards, shopping lists, and various other things.

Travis can officially take baths in the big tub now (he has graduated from the baby bath tub).

On Friday, we had an outdoor movie night for a ward activity. It was totally awesome! Everyone brought blankets or camp  chairs to sit on, and we watched Zootopia on a big screen. There was even a concessions stand with popcorn, cotton candy, and M&M's. The kids wore their jammies and sat through the entire movie. Even Travis enjoyed it! Brookie kept sending me to concessions to get her more M&M's. Tanner laughed hysterically any time the adults laughed, even when he didn't understand the humor- totally hilarious! It was an awesome evening.

Travis has been crawling for a couple of weeks now. Look out, world!

Our Kiddie Pool

We were lucky that we got the very LAST $10 kiddie pool at Walmart after a super hot weekend. I guess everyone had the same idea as we did! I would've chosen a more gender-neutral color, but I didn't really have a choice. So pink it is. The kids were so excited, they almost couldn't handle it.

Out and About

Here are some pictures of us out and about. The kids are pretty wild. That's pretty much all there is to say.

Brooklynn always gets buried in groceries every time we go on our weekly shopping trip. But we have to make do with one shopping cart, so this is how we do it. We're always a big scene at the grocery store ("Are those ALL your kids? How old are you? Bless your heart! You have your hands full."). Well, anyway. We have fun.

Our Garden

We are renting a garden plot at the Community Garden down the road. It has been really fun so far! We have been successful with most of the things we've planted. We have onions, spinach, carrots, beans, cucumbers, and zucchini. We've also planted peppers and tomatoes, which we just replanted because they didn't survive the first time around. The kids love to help water the garden and do maintenance work on it. We've already harvested a lot of spinach and made a lot of green smoothies!

Rescue Bots

For the last several months, Tanner worked hard to earn the Rescue Bot team- and he finally earned the last one today. He is obsessed with them.

I started filming this video to show Tanner playing Rescue Bots (he pretends that they are fixing the broken railroad tracks). But then the video turned into an example of the typical silliness that I deal with every day.

A Bunch of Photos

Here are a whole bunch of photos I took in the last week or so:

This guy has 4 teeth on the bottom now!
