Funny Story

Last night, Josh and I were watching a movie in bed, and Josh was feeding Tanner in his lap. Suddenly, Tanner projectile vomited his entire dinner all over his own face, including his eyes. He soaked Josh and our sheets. Two minutes later, he had a major blowout clear up his back. I had to call an emergency bathtime. After wiping spit up from his eyelashes, I noticed that his eyes were red and puffy. Poor little guy!

Halloween

Today was Tanner's first Halloween. We took him to a party on campus. It was a lot of fun! He even got to decorate his very first trick-or-treat bag.

Tan the Man

Tanner was playing on this comfy armchair, wide awake, while I was doing dishes. When I came back a few minutes later, he had fallen fast asleep like this.

Tanner's Awesomeness

Tanner loves to study with his dad. He was crying with me, but as soon as Josh took him, he calmed right down. He must love learning about anatomy!

Fun on Laundry Day

No matter how carefully I swaddle him, he always manages to kick his legs free. He just loves to exercise them, I guess.
This is my makeshift clothesline. Most people hang dry their clothes here because it's expensive to run the dryer, and because clothes dry really fast here. Tanner likes to lie on the bed and look up at the clothes.

New Discovery

Tanner's newest discovery is the mirror by his changing table. He could stare at it for hours and be happy. He must realize how good-looking he is.

Fun at the Beach

We had an activity day at the beach with some students and their families. It was a lot of fun! Josh and I did a lot of snorkeling and we are becoming pros at it. Tanner slept through the whole party, but I think he was happy.

Caribbean Fun

We had a lot of fun this weekend with Mom in Grenada. Take a look at these awesome pictures! Among the cool things we did and saw: We got pictures with a monkey on our shoulders; we saw thousands of red crabs (that look just like Mr. Krabbs on Spongebob Squarepants) just down the street from where we live; we've seen tiny lizards all around our apartment complex; we've gone snorkeling on two different beaches (one time, it rained on us, which was totally amazing); we saw tons of colorful fish while snorkeling; Mom bought Grenada-grown spices from the locals; we went to church and saw the baptismal font, which is set up with rocks in the ocean; and Mom bought locally-grown fruit (bananas, grapes, and a mango), which are way tastier here.

And all the while, Tanner slept. :)
