Birthday Bikes

Tanner and Brooklynn got their birthday presents a little early this year- bikes with training wheels! We found them on Craigslist for really cheap, and they're in pretty good condition. We decided to get them early because it's going to start getting chilly outside soon, so now is the time for bike riding. 

Lost Tooth!

 Tanner lost a tooth last week! He was so excited, he couldn't even handle it. He put it under the pillow for the tooth fairy that night. He was sad at first, because he didn't want to part with his precious tooth. But when he found a handful of coins under his pillow the next morning, all thoughts of the tooth were forgotten.

Residency Photos

Josh's work is kind of a mystery to me, since I can't just go and watch him on the job (and never will be able to). I hear stories, and he tells me all about it, but that's about the extent that I know. So whenever the residents post photos on Facebook, it's kind of exciting to me because I get little glimpses of what Josh is up to at the hospital. 

So far, it looks like he eats cake and texts on his cell phone. Hmmm...

Couch fort!

 Travis is transitioning to solid foods and finger foods now. He likes bread, avocados, sweet potatoes, cottage cheese, bananas, pears, etc. In these pictures, he had a little bit of banana on his forehead that he was saving for later. 

Mosquitoes are rampant right now here in New Jersey. Tanner was playing outside one day for only a little while, but he came in looking like he had been eaten alive. He had bites all over his legs, arms, and face. Feeling very distraught over the whole thing, Tanner asked me, "Why did Jesus send mosquitoes here?"   :)   Even I don't know the answer to that.
