New Hampshire and Vermont

In New Hampshire, we passed Lake Winnipesaukee, which was totally awesome!

Then we visited the Joseph Smith Birthplace in Sharon, Vermont. This was a fascinating place to visit. There is a monument on the grounds where he was born, as well as the original doorstep stone of his home.

Portland and Freeport, Maine

From Boston, we went to Portland, Maine, where we got to see two iconic lighthouses. The seaside is beautiful in Maine. There was some beautiful scenery that we saw that day.

At the end of the day, we went to the Children's Museum of Maine, where the kids got to do all sorts of fun things. It was a blast!

Then we went to Freeport, Maine, where Mom and Dad got to eat their Maine lobster! They had a fun time learning how to crack open their lobsters... and eating them, of course!

We also went to the L.L. Bean store in Freeport. That was pretty awesome! It was fun to walk around and see the town as well.

Boston: Day 2

On our second day in Boston, we went to the New England Aquarium. It is a very impressive aquarium! The kids had so much fun. They got to touch sting rays, watch seals eat their lunch, see a huge sea turtle, and watch penguins swim. They also found Dory.  :)

After the aquarium, we went to the Boston Common again to ride the swan boats. They are a popular tourist attraction of Boston, so we had to check them out. We had a great time.
