Easter Morning

When Tanner woke up, he discovered that the Easter bunny had come, leaving him a basket full of treats. He was pretty excited. He had really awesome bed-head, too.
Here's Brooklynn in her pretty Easter dress that Grandma Niederhauser gave her. She looked so pretty at church that day.

These silly kids were all ready for church in these last pictures. Well, almost... don't worry, I did wet down Tanner's mohawk before church, and I also removed his tie that he had put on with his polo shirt (he doesn't really have good fashion sense yet).

Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday, we got together with our friends, Rachel and Wade Roberts. They have a daughter named Sophie who is Tanner's age. We dyed eggs and then we had an Easter egg hunt outside. It was really fun for Tanner and Sophie. This was Tanner's first time doing these fun Easter activities.

A Visit From Grandma Oaks

Brooklynn finally got to meet Grandma Oaks last week! Marleen had just come from Virginia, where she had seen another new granddaughter (Stella Bratt). Tanner and Brooklynn loved having their grandma around. Tanner especially loved to give her slobbery kisses. We had a really good time while she was here over the weekend.

This is how worn out he got from playing hard with Grandma. He fell asleep with his bum in the air.

These are Tanner's new jammies that he got from Grandma Oaks. He calls them his "shoe jammies" (he's not used to having jammies with footies). He loves them so much, he gets upset when I take them off in the mornings. So I just let him wear them all morning.

Northlandz Model Railroad

Last week, Josh's mom came to visit us and to see baby Brooklynn. We took a fun trip to Flemington, New Jersey to see the Northlandz Railway, which won a Guinness World Record for the world's largest model railroad. It has 100 trains and over 8 miles of track. It was very impressive- all the bridges were handmade. They looked spectacular. It took us over an hour to see everything. Tanner was in absolute awe. Every time he saw a train go by, he would point to it and say, "Choo-choo! Choo-choo!" He was incredibly upset when we had to leave. Tanner also got to ride a real train with his Grandma. They had so much fun on the "choo-choo train."

Muddy Tanner

I took Tanner out to play one sunny day. Unfortunately for me, I hadn't thought about the fact that it had rained heavily the day before. When we got outside, Tanner found a huge, disgusting muddy puddle and splashed around in it for a long time. At one point, he slipped and fell, getting his arm and hair drenched in mud. But he got right back up and kept on splashing.

Brooklynn Rolls Over

Brooklynn can finally roll over from her back to her belly! I took these 2 pictures right after she rolled over one day. It was pretty awesome. And Tanner was so excited, he thought it would be cool to show her what she looks like in a mirror. It was completely relevant to what was going on.
Brooklynn loves to hold her feet and suck on her toes.
And this is Tanner being crazy with Josh. I don't know what they were doing- I just found this picture on the camera and decided to put it on the blog.

Silly Videos with Daddy

Josh thinks of the craziest things to do with his children. Like telling Tanner to pull him in his rolley chair like a horse pulling a carriage, or like balancing Brooklynn on his hand. What can I say? I've got some crazies living with me.
