Short Hills Ward Fall Festival, 2017

On Saturday, we had our annual ward Fall Festival (which is the BEST ward party of the year in the Short Hills ward!). Tanner was the red power ranger, Brooklynn was Ariel, and Travis was Count Dracula. We got to eat a delicious dinner, play carnival games outside, roast marshmallows by the fire pit, and end the day with a trunk-or-treat. The kids were in heaven! I'm sad that this was our last one, since we will be moving soon. But it was a great one to end with!

Pumpkin Patch, 2017

For family night this week, we went to the pumpkin patch at William's Nursery in Springfield.  The kids enjoyed, as always, running around in the maze. And then we picked out pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. Later, the kids painted their little pumpkins. We sure do love the fall around here!

Brooklyn, NY

Last Saturday, we took a trip to Brooklyn, NY. We met up with our good friend, Richard Huang, who took these amazing photos. We walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, walked along the piers and the waterfront, rode Jane's Carousel, and ate New York style pizza and ice cream. We had a great time!

 

Travis's 2nd Birthday

Trav turned 2 this week! I made him a pumpkin cake. He got some really cool gifts, like the big box of Hot Wheels cars from Grandma and Grandpa Niederhauser.
