Happy Christmas Time!

The kids and I kicked off the Christmas season with Black Friday shopping! (Don't worry- there were no casualties!) Travis is now wearing his Christmas outfit all the time, which he looks super cute in. And we put up our tree and decorated the house! The kids also made a ginger bread house. We've been having a lot of fun these past few days!

Happy Thanksgiving!

On Thanksgiving, the kids and I made caramel apples for our Thanksgiving activity. They thought it was the coolest thing ever. And, of course, they only ate the caramel. No apples were consumed by these kids during this activity.

Brooklynn's New Shoes

Brooklynn looks stylish in her new Sketcher shoes that Grandma Niederhauser bought her for her birthday! She's obsessed with them. Like a true girl.

Tanner Has a Back

The other day, Tanner said to me, "Mommy, I can't see my back." I told him that nobody can see their own back. His response was, "Take a picture of my back so that I know it's behind me." So of course I took this picture, and now he knows that he has a back, and it's behind him.
Another great Tanner story: Last week, he had his first primary program. His one line that he was supposed to say into the pulpit was, "Jesus loves me very much." Well, he stepped right up, and instead of waiting for his teacher to whisper his line to him, he made up his own line: "Jesus is my favorite." Oh boy. He's already making the congregation laugh at age 4...

Jumping Monkeys

Lately, Tanner and Brooklynn have been into the whole "monkeys jumping on the bed" thing. So I had to get a video of it. I love how Brooklynn's curls bounce when she jumps. And if you pay attention, you'll notice that she smacks her head into the ladder at one point. But it's no big deal to her- she bumps her head on things every day! She just shakes it off and keeps going.

Somebody is Smiling

This past week, little Travis started smiling! He started smiling at about 5 weeks old. We went to the park today, and he was very happy to be there! His smile is pretty adorable, I must say.

This Past Week

Here are pictures from this past week. Travis is a month old already! He's growing so fast that he is no longer wearing newborn clothes. He's a sweet baby.

Fall Leaves!

We have loads and loads of leaves in our driveway! The kids love to play in them and pretend to rake them. We love the fall on the east coast!

Happy Birthday Brookie!

Brooklynn turned two last week, on November 4th. Tanner and I made her some delicious chocolate cupcakes. She got a baby doll and a stroller for her birthday, which she absolutely loves! Also, Grandma Niederhauser's birthday card was a big hit- it came with little hair pieces. She wanted me to put all of them in her hair. I can't believe my little Brookie is growing up so fast!

Halloween 2015

This year for Halloween, we had a Spiderman and a candy corn witch! The kids loved wearing their costumes. They carved their pumpkin with Josh that afternoon, and then we lit it up that evening. They thought it was so cool. For trick-or-treating, we met up with some friends in the ward (the Egans and the Hawkins). There were 9 kids total that we were herding around- it was totally wild, but the kids had a lot of fun! Tanner was leading the pack, running from house to house. And although Brooklynn was at the back of the pack, she never gave up; she kept on running and refused to be carried. Afterwards, we went to the Egan's home for hot cocoa and delicious donuts. It was a very successful Halloween this year!

Little Travis was Mickey Mouse for Halloween. He slept the entire evening.
