Good Bye, Grenada

As we said good bye to Grenada, we took a little secret with us! Tanner got to make the announcement with this shirt.

While we were at the airports for layovers, all Tanner did was stare out the window and watch the airplanes take off and land. He was mesmerized by it all. This was actually really nice for us because we didn't have to chase him around the airport- we actually got to relax!

There was a little play area for kids at the Dallas airport. Tanner went wild with excitement when he saw it.

Choo Light

On our last weekend in Grenada, we ate at the Chinese restaurant Choo Light one more time. The bottom picture is Tanner with Mrs. Choo. Tanner was seriously her favorite customer. Every time we ate there, she just about hyperventilated because she was so excited to see him. So naturally, we just had to get a picture with the two of them before we left the island.

Last Pool Day in Grenada

Right after Josh's last final exam in Grenada, we headed to the pool for a final fling. It was a really fun pool day with lots of friends and people we knew. It was so relaxing, knowing that the first half of medical school was finally behind us. What a journey it was!

I took Tanner down to his favorite spot on the beach one last time- the place where all the seashells wash up to shore. He picks out the pretty ones and plays with them.

And this is Tanner swimming on his own with just his floaties! He has no fear of the water now.
