Tanner likes to crawl into this cupboard. It's like his play-place. I don't normally let him get into the cupboards, but with this one, he left me no choice. The way he staked it as his own: he tore the door right off the hinges. Yup. That's my boy.
I wanted to get some pictures of Tanner in his awesome high chair that I packed all the way from Utah (I think it's the same one that his cousin Charlie has). It's perfect for him. He has a big toothy smile now! And speaking of which, Tanner now has 10 teeth.

Sandy Man
Tanner still hasn't learned that sand isn't food. He smears it all over his face in an attempt to eat it. But even though he eats sand, he's still alive! So that's good. He likes being a beach bum with his mommy, and he even enjoys a good bottle of milk during beach time!

Husking Coconuts
Last night, our neighbors all got together in our parking lot to husk coconuts. One of our neighbors lived in Hawaii for a long time, so he taught us how to husk them. This is Josh knocking down coconuts from a tree in our yard. Every time he smacked the tree, a bunch of ants fell on him. He got bit pretty good.
To get the husks off the coconuts, you take a sturdy stick and make it into a spear (our neighbor used a machete to make the spear tip). Then you pound the spear through the coconut until it cracks open the husk.
This is some husk that Josh pulled off of his coconut.
In this picture, you can kind of see the coconut inside. It's much smaller than you would think, because the husk makes the entire thing look so big.
This is Josh with a machete. He was cracking open the coconut to get to the fruit inside. The trick is to just crack it so that all the coconut water inside won't spill out, and then you can drink it. But he actually hit it way too hard and all the coconut water spilled out. It was funny.
Here is the lovely coconut that Josh husked! I can't believe that those just grow right in our yard.

Outside Time
I take Tanner outside to play on the porch every day. It's good to get some fresh air and play time. He gets way dirty, and I have to give him a bath every day, but it's worth it. It makes him so happy being outside.
Kitchen Fun
Tanner knows how to open and close the trash can lid now. And he even knows how to pull trash out of it. It seems like I should be excited about his knew skills, but...
Every time I open the fridge, he bolts towards it like it's candy. He is so fascinated by the cold air and the foods. I usually let him play in it for a minute before prying his tight grasp away from the shelves. But ever since he pulled the tabasco sauce onto the floor and busted the lid the other day, I've been giving him less fridge time.

New Swim Toy and Head Dunking
Back in Grenada
We are back in Grenada! We're settled in and Josh is already in school again. Life is good as usual. Tanner is having a tough time on the tile floor, though. We've been here 5 days now, and every day he has hit his head on the tile and gotten goose eggs. We're hoping he'll get better at catching himself. But besides that, he's having a lot of fun exploring his old home, using new skills he learned in Utah (like pulling himself up and crawling).

Eating Out
We went out to eat one evening with the family. Here are just a couple of pictures from that wild party.
Silly Dudes
Tanner had such a great time going shopping with all the wild women in the family. He and Charlie fell asleep in the car at the same time during one shopping trip. It was adorable! In the bottom picture, Tanner poured his puffs out and started eating them by the handful. He really is crazy!
Trash Can Man
One day, Josh decided it would be funny to put Tanner in a trash can. Surprisingly, Tanner loved it.
