Christmas Day

We spent Christmas Day at the Niederhauser home. It was a full house that day, with all 7 of Mom and Dad's kids at home. Tanner got to play with his 3 cousins-- Anna, Nathan, and Charlie. That was a wild bunch of kids. We opened presents, played games, and ate an amazing dinner. And Tanner got his toy laptop, which kept him occupied all day. It was definitely a good Christmas!

Christmas Morning

We spent Christmas morning at the Oaks's home. It was lots of fun! We had a delicious breakfast of waffles and homemade caramel syrup, and then we opened presents. It was fun to see Tanner open presents and play with his new things, although he's still not really old enough to understand what's going on.

Tanner's First Snow

This is Tanner's first time playing in the snow. I was worried that he would be scared of it, but it was just the opposite- he immediately started walking through it. He loved it. You can see all of his tracks through the front yard in these pictures, which is pretty cute. He was all over the yard. I think he loved it because of his exploring nature. He had a great time exploring the snow. (Those 2 links above go to some pretty cute videos.)

Santa!

This was Tanner's first time meeting Santa. It was at the Miami airport. Tanner was a little bit skeptical of the jolly old man, but at least he didn't cry! I would say it was a success.

These are just a few random pictures I've taken recently. In the bottom 2, Tanner is in the Miami airport chugging his Sprite. That was a long trip back to Utah, but we're here now and we're having a lot of fun!

Grenada Horseback Riding

 On Monday, Josh and I went horseback riding. Well, Josh went horseback riding. I went donkey riding. The owner informed us when we got there that his other horse was injured, so I had to ride a donkey. It was pretty hilarious! He took us up one of the highest peaks on the island. The view from the top was incredible.

Tanner-isms

This is our silly boy doing what he does best- playing with incredibly random things around the apartment. Forget toys! Hampers are so much cooler. He likes to walk around with the hamper on his head.

Funny Faces

 Josh was having fun giving Tanner some silly faces. These pictures actually show Tanner's fat lip really well. The day before, Tanner had tripped and fallen flat on his face. His lip was bleeding everywhere. It was a traumatic experience, but he's a tough boy.

This is the cutest picture ever. Tanner's smile is so toothy and white, it's irresistible!
