On Presidents Day weekend, we took the kids to the Liberty Science Center at Liberty State Park (in Jersey City). We spent the entire day there. It is a huge 4-story building with all sorts of hands-on things for kids to play with and experiment with. There were robotics, engineering stuff, puzzles, a rock climbing wall, some animals, Thomas the Train, a Star Trek section, a pitch dark tunnel-maze to crawl through, a planetarium IMAX theater, a playground hanging in the air... we even got to see a liquid nitrogen experiment! There was so much to see, but we saw it all! The kids absolutely loved it. It was totally worth spending a day there.
