Last week, we had a crazy snowstorm that made everything shut down (including schools) for 3 days. The snow was so heavy that it downed trees and power lines all over. Thousands of people in our area lost power for several days. Luckily, we are fortunate to live in the hospital grid, so we had no power issues. The kids just had a great time playing in the snow and skipping out on school and their other classes.

Philadelphia Trip
On Saturday, Josh and I took a day trip to Philadelphia. It's only an hour-and-a-half drive from where we live. We visited Independence Hall, Reading Terminal Market (where we ate Philly cheesesteaks), and the Museum of the American Revolution. We also stopped by the Philadelphia temple. Here are a few pictures:
The court room inside Independence Hall
The Assembly room, where the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were signed
George Washington's original chair
Independence Hall
Museum of the American Revolution (This was our favorite part of the trip- it was amazing! They have loads of historical artifacts from the Revolutionary War and that time period, as well as tons of history to read about. We spent 2 hours there, and that wasn't even enough time. This is one of the best museums I have ever been to.)
