Liberty Science Center

On Presidents Day weekend, we took the kids to the Liberty Science Center at Liberty State Park (in Jersey City). We spent the entire day there. It is a huge 4-story building with all sorts of hands-on things for kids to play with and experiment with. There were robotics, engineering stuff, puzzles, a rock climbing wall, some animals, Thomas the Train, a Star Trek section, a pitch dark tunnel-maze to crawl through, a planetarium IMAX theater, a playground hanging in the air... we even got to see a liquid nitrogen experiment! There was so much to see, but we saw it all! The kids absolutely loved it. It was totally worth spending a day there.

Travis and His Cars

Travis has an obsession with cars. He plays with them all day long, every day. His favorite thing to do is line them up perfectly.

Wrestling Match

Josh took Tanner to a wrestling match tonight. He has been taking wrestling lessons since November, and this was his first regional match. Considering how little experience he has, he did pretty good. Here is a video:

Christmas Time in NYC

Last night, we took the kids into Midtown Manhattan to see the lights and window displays. New York is magical this time of year! Here are a few pictures from our trip:

The above pictures are of the window displays at Macy's. So magical and fun for the kids!

The above pictures are of the Saks on Fifth light show. It was amazing!

 Rockefeller Center Christmas tree

The kids wanted to go directly underneath the Rockefeller tree. It was body-to-body with people, but we pushed our way through and stood under the tree. Since we were so squished, this was the best picture I could do.
