Ward Halloween Party
Pumpkin Carving
Josh and Tanner carved our pumpkin so that we could display it for the ward Trunk-or-Treat. Right after Josh took the top off the pumpkin, Tanner looked inside at all the gooey stuff and said, "Cool!" That's his new favorite word. Tanner thought the carving process was pretty neat, just as long as he could color his Sesame Street book while Josh did all the work.
Choo-Choo Train
Tanner loves to play with his train. He calls it his "dee-dee." He has become really good at building the tracks. He rebuilds it in different ways every day, and he brings it into different rooms in the house every day, too. And it's not cool enough just to put the train on it- he likes to line up all of his race cars on it, too.

Pumpkin Patch
This is Tanner's 3rd Halloween, but it's his first time experiencing going to a pumpkin patch! In fact, this is the first time we've ever bought a pumpkin for him. We were lucky to have a pumpkin patch so close to home- it's only a mile away from where we live. They had cute little wagons to carry your pumpkins with, and they had a fun little hay maze. They were also offering pony rides, which we though would be fun for Tanner, but he had a melt down when we put him on the pony. He was too afraid of it. So that didn't work out, but at least he enjoyed the hay maze and the pumpkin patch! It was a really fun Family Home Evening activity for us.

Just Hanging Out
Here are some pictures of Tanner playing outside of our apartment. It's officially jeans and jackets weather! I love going outside in the Fall. Tanner seems to really like the nice weather, too.
Just hanging out on the floor, watching cartoons with Curious George.
I made Tanner a couch fort yesterday, and he thought it was the coolest thing. He brought all of his cars into the fort and played all afternoon. This was a great distraction for him while Josh and I watched General Conference.
Tanner climbed onto the office chair to watch General Conference. He lasted about 2 minutes before he got bored and went back to his couch fort.
This is my attempt at making a Fall wreath. The wreath itself is lopsided, which I didn't realize until I had already brought it home from Michael's. So that was kind of disappointing. But I did my best to dress it up.
