Tanner turned four on September 9! I can't believe he's getting so old. These first two pictures are from his actual birthday, which was on a Wednesday. I bought the kids balloons at the grocery store and they got to wear birthday hats. Tanner didn't wear his for long, but Brooklynn wore hers all day long. Literally.
On Friday, two days later, we had a birthday party for Tanner. We invited a lot of friends from medical school and from the ward. We played a balloon game outside first, and then we went inside for cake, ice cream, and presents. Tanner loved his Thomas the train birthday cakes (I'm no Blair when it comes to cake decorating, but it was good enough for Tanner!). It was a lot of fun to have so many friends over and to celebrate with them.
They are so cute!!! I can hardly believe he is 4! Happy birthday Tanner!!
