Travis is Walking!

Travis is now walking! He is 11 months old, which makes him the earliest walker of all my kids. It's crazy how fast he learned! He absolutely loves to walk. You can tell he's proud of himself when he walks. It's pretty cute.

This walker was a huge help in teaching him how to walk.

And here he is... walking all by himself!

Dutch Wonderland

On Saturday, we went to a kids' amusement park in Lancaster, Pennsylvania called Dutch Wonderland. We were there from 10 am-6 pm, and it was total bliss for the kids. This was probably the best day of Tanner's life. The park has over 30 rides for little kids, and they also have an amphitheater where we got to see an aquatic show, with divers jumping off high diving boards and doing cool things in the air. The kids were going nonstop all day with excitement and were totally bummed when we had to leave. I would say it was a totally successful trip- and Tanner is already begging to go back next year.

Travis was a trooper- he was happy all day except for a short time when he was tired. But he just passed out in his stroller and snoozed for a couple of hours, and then he was fine again.

Pirate Party

For Tanner's 5th birthday, we threw him a pirate party. The kids got to eat pizza, go on a treasure hunt for ring pops, have sword fights, and eat cupcakes. I think it was a success! Here are some pictures:

The kids all got pirate hats, eye patches, and telescopes.

I remembered to buy all the random things for this party, but I forgot to check if we had any birthday candles. I realized a little too late that we were out of them. So he got to blow out a normal candle.

Josh and I got him a Power Rangers Megazord, which he is obsessed with. He also got a ton of really cool gifts from his friends, including Lego sets. So fun!

We got the kids blow-up swords as a party favor. They turned out to be a much bigger hit than I was expecting. They played sword fight for a half-hour straight! It was great.

Fun Videos

Here are a bunch of photos from the last month that I never got around to posting.

My First Kindergartener!

Yesterday was Tanner's first day of kindergarten. He goes to Jefferson Primary School in Summit (which you can see in the bottom picture). For his birthday today, his teacher read his favorite book to the whole class and he got to wear a birthday crown. He thought that was pretty cool.
I can't believe I have a kindergartener! He's getting so big.

Pirate Ship Playground

This week, I took the kids to their favorite playground ever- Pirate Ship Playground in West Orange. We don't go that often because it's a bit of a drive, so it's a big event when we do go. Here are a few photos of the kids in their heaven on earth.
